The mermaids send them an autographed picture and respond via a video posted on this channel. Home of the world-famous Weeki Wachee Mermaids! Built-in 1947, Weeki Wachee Springs State Park offers a unique glimpse into Florida's tourism history. A natural attraction, the park offers a riverboat cruise down the pristine waterway of the Weeki Wachee River, animal shows, swimming at Buccaneer Bay (the only spring-fed water park in Florida), and of course, the alluring mermaids of Weeki Wachee.
